Machine Learning Fundamentals for Economists
Overview
These lecture notes provide a half term course (part of ECON 622) in machine learning fundamentals for graduate economics students. The course covers foundational theory and methods from machine learning, with an emphasis on a more formal understanding of these methods, their promises and limitations, and adapting methods used in other disciplines to economic problems.
